Senate Petition committee clears Rotimi Amaechi



The commitee has cleared Rotimi Amaechi of all petitions brought against him before the senate over his ministerial nomination.

L AGOS — The Board of Ecobank Nigeria Limited said, yesterday, that the Managing Director of the bank, Mr. Jibril Aku, will step down on December 31, 2015. A statement from the bank said by the bank’s internal policy, Mr. Jibril Aku, the current Managing Director, having concluded his five-year tenure as managing director, will step down from his current role. Jared Fogle, ex-Subway spokesman, sentenced to 15 years in prison for pedophilia

Jared Fogle emerged from obscurity to become the unlikely face of one of America's biggest restaurant chains, earning a small fortune by touting the benefits of a healthy lifestyle that included Subway sandwiches. He gained fame for significant weight loss, attributed to eating Subway sandwiches, and was a spokesperson for the company's advertising campaigns from 2000 to 2015.
